These little gems were gifted to my mom who then gave a couple to me to try. I fried them up in butter with a touch of salt and pepper. Delicious! What I loved about them was that they are mostly yolk, my favorite part! With people wanting to be a bit more self sufficient these days, chickens are an easy way to begin building a homestead. Unfortunately where I live, most houses have an HOA that prevent the keeping of chickens. Luckily, as it turns out, quail are considered pets and can be kept under our current HOA regulations. They are also apparently very cute little animals to keep! Thank you for sharing!
